I’m a wife, mama, and the other half of Mama Knows Best. I enjoy spending time with my family, tending to our garden and playing with our dogs outside. I grew up watching and helping my grandmothers preserve food from their gardens and now enjoy doing the same with our produce we harvest from ours. I started my breastfeeding journey almost two years ago after my son was born. I exclusively breastfed but would pump between feedings to build up some milk in the freezer for those “just in case” times. Due to the fact that I wasn’t using the milk in the freezer a lot of bags of hard work were reaching that twelve month expiration date. I was getting frustrated at my lack of not being able to preserve my milk. With no other options in preserving I started using it for milk baths for my little one. Fast forward six months after my breast feeding journey ended, my cousin who was a pumping mama came to me with the idea of providing moms with a way of preserving all their hard work in a shelf stable, freezer space saving, powder on the go! I loved it immediately and we got to work providing a space to do just that.
